We often heard that you can't judge a book by its cover or a person based on his/her appearance. While 'they' say people with symmetrical faces are more attractive, I don't believe so - 也有醜得很對稱的啊.
Now do you believe that you actually can tell something about someone's personality by how symmetrical (or asymmetrical) their faces are?
Basically the theory says when we look at others or ourselves in the mirror, we often see the side that is nicer and subconsciously choose to ignore the side we don't like, the side that might look mean, ugly, angry, or less attractive. Your "hidden" face is your hidden personality. The bigger the difference is, the more contrasting personalities you have.
Take a photo when you're smiling or about to smile and make two pictures, each from left and right side of the photo - one will look like how you think you look like, and the other will be the self that you don't even know (if you get two quiet different sides) - the suppressed side that you don't want to face or people to know.
So, who's the hidden you?
