My biggest fear in this comfy life is to eat at a restaurant and find out I don't have money to pay, or when finished checking out at a grocery store and couldn't find my wallet.
I've always make sure I have MORE THAN ENOUGH money before I go into any store, just couldn't figure out how some people can bring exact change to buy something - what if they upped the price? What if the taxes are changed, what if....
I couldn't remember how many times I went to work without my wallet - but that's fine because there is no cafeteria, and I am always with co-workers when we go lunch. Also, luckily no cops stop me for random checks. So I forgot my wallet today, no biggie, except I left work early to go to a store some 10 minutes away, trying to buy work supplies. Spent 30 minutes to pick all the parts and realize the 6 cents at the bottom of my purse is not going to pay for these parts.... The company didn't have an account with the store either - how embarrassing.
That sucks... but... at least you knew where you wallet is... did i tell you i was about to buy something at the Apple store when i got a call from my bank telling me someone has picked up my wallet? i didn't know i had dropped it.
ReplyDeletea week later i leave my purse at the food court after lunch... cleaning lady picked it up.
I'm scared to think when i start getting old.
